In 4 months in 2016, I produced more than 50 portraits with a large format 4”x5" camera to people categorized as "the Others," for most of Medellín's population. I portrayed migrants, LGTBQ community, Muslims, African-Colombians, Indigenous persons, among others. Each one of them wrote on their image stories and reflections, looking to create a deeper connection with the viewer.
